Helping you open safely with our new Track and Trace feature

The government have recently announced that it is now a requirement for all hospitality businesses to keep a temporary record of customers and visitors for 21 days to assist with Test and Trace. This data collection must also comply with data protection law.

We have created a free tool available to all Redbox marketplaces and outlets to make it much easier to collect this data and to be fully compliant.

Your customers simply scan a QR code using their smartphone, and they are quickly taken to a simple contact details form on your unique Track and Trace website.

Your Track and Trace website is unique to your outlet, so no need for customers so select a location. This makes completing the information quick and easy for your customers.

We safely store this information for the required 21 days. If this data is needed by the NHS you can quickly request an export of this information from the Redbox Management Portal.

We built this to help businesses open again, and quickly conform to the government guidelines. When you collect data for Track and Trace you must ensure this is done safely, and that no other customers can see this information. This means you can’t rely on a clipboard and pen, sharing pens spreads the virus, and anyone could take a look at the information on the clipboard.

If you would like to implement Track and Trace for your pub, restaurant or cafe, please get in touch. We can send you a QR code poster that you can print and display, that will link straight to your unique Track and Trace website. It’s that simple.
